LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — White County authorities say a McRae man has been arrested for murder in the death of his father.
Prosecuting Attorney Chris Raff says he plans to file a first-degree murder charge Tuesday against 43-year-old Christopher Clark. Clark was arrested Sunday after 75-year-old Billy Joe Clark was found dead in his home in Beebe about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Raff says authorities are waiting for an autopsy to determine Billy Joe Clark's cause of death.
Christopher Clark was being held without bail Monday. It was not clear whether he had an attorney.
