MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (AP) — The Baxter County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 51-year-old Mountain Home woman.
Sheriff John Montgomery says an emergency call was received just before 6 a.m. Saturday, and deputies and paramedics discovered Jodi Diane Hunt unresponsive in the bathroom of rural house in Mountain Home. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Montgomery says it appears Hunt and her boyfriend were drinking heavily the night before. He says a preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play, but Hunt's body will be sent to the medical examiner's office to determine the manner and cause of death.
