A Francis, Oklahoma man was killed early this morning.
Authorities say 19 year old Lucas Wainscott was the victim of a hit and run accident.
Howe Police Chief Nick Yokum says the fatal accident happened shortly before five this morning when a blue semi truck struck Wainscott as he walked along side Highway 59.
Chief Yokum says Wainscott was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body has been sent to the medical examiners office in Tulsa.
Authorities are still searching for the blue Kenworth or Peterbuilt semi which they say should have damage to the right headlamps on the truck.
