A Greenwood man is sent to the hospital after his car slams into a tree.
It happened around 10:30 this morning near the intersection of Highway 10 East and Mount Harmony Road in Greenwood. Local police say the car, driven by 19 year old Adam Bailey, went straight instead of following the curve in the road.
Officials are unsure what caused the teen to run off the road. He was transported to Saint Edward Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries.
