Since 5NEWS first brought you this story, we have learned Cynthia Kinsey was a Cub Scout "Den Leader" in Springdale.
This according to Bryan Feather, Scout Executive with the Westark area council--Boy Scouts of America
Feather says she has since been removed from that position.
She started in December of 2008.
Feather says there have been no issues or concerns expressed from the pack and the Boy Scouts have a policy that 2 adults mus be with kids at all times.
Feather says background checks are conducted on all den leaders.
28-year old Cynthia Kinsey was arrested yesterday after allegedly having internet sex in front of six children.
A 12 and a 13-year-old told police while Kinsey was babysitting them, they saw her having naked sex chats with men over the internet.
The kids told police Kinsey would call them into her room while she was pleasing herself in front of a webcam. A police report says the kids also saw men on the computer screen exposing and pleasing themselves while chatting with Kinsey.
The kids also told police Kinsey would ask them to type on the keyboard with men, while Kinsey was pleasing herself in front of the webcam.
According to the 12 and 13 year old, other children were also in the room while this was going on, including a five-year-old, a seven-year-old, an eight-year-old and a one-year-old.
We spoke with several neighbors in kinsey's apartment complex. They say they are shocked and disgusted this was happening in their neigborhood.
In the interview after her arrest, Kinsey admitted to everything the children reported. She is charged with sexual indecency with a child.
When hearing a story like this one, some parents may be concerned about hiring a babysitter to care for their children.
Director of the Division of Child Care and ECE at The Department of Human Services in Little Rock Tonya Russell says when hiring a babysitter, you should treat it like a job interview.
"Sit down with someone and ask them some questions about their experience in babysitting.....Get references on that individual from other people," said Russell.
Russell also says it's best to have a babysitter care for your children inside your own home. If you do decide to take them to the babysitter's home, Russell says make sure you do a walk-through of the residence first.
Also, if you're looking for a reputable babysitter, Russell says you can find certified sitters online. Here are several websites Russell suggests for finding a trained and certified babysitter: www.safesitter.com, www.redcross.org, www.aap.org.
