Authorities are still searching for two inmates who escaped from prison on Friday. The corrections department says the two men escaped from the Cummins Unit in Grady, Arkansas in Lincoln County.
32-year-old Jeffrey Grinder was convicted in 2004 of a capitol murder for the beating death of a 77-year-old Springdale man. 39-year-old Calvin Adams was convicted in 1995 of a capitol murder in Greene County. Both men were serving life sentences without the possibility of parole.
They escaped wearing correction officer uniforms and they drove away in a maroon or burgundy colored, 4-door sedan.
