As Arkansas gears up for statewide mass flu clinics on Thursday and Friday, Sebastian County is asking for volunteers to help them with their efforts.
Clinic organizers are looking for greeters to direct traffic and help pass out patient forms to those wanting to get the seasonal flu shot. They also need runners to keep stations stocked with goods. Volunteers will be served lunch and given a flu shot for interested.

The mass flu clinic will be held at Kay Rodgers Park in Fort Smith on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Seasonal flu shots are available. There will also be a limited supply of H1N1 vaccine shots will also be available on a first come, first serve basis to children ages 6 months to 4 years, children up to the age of 18 with underlying medical conditions, and pregnant women.
Clinic organizers say if you're not available to volunteer at this clinic, you can sign up to help at another one of the 18 flu shot clinics planned for this season.
