Dozens of Fort Smith Pets Looking for Homes

Dozens of animals at the Sebastian County Humane Society are in need of a home.

Officials say that Spring is the busiest season for new arrivals and right now they are filled to capacity.

Sebastian County Humane Society Executive Director JoAnn Barton says thirty one animals are in danger of being euthanized if they are not adopted soon. Barton tells 5NEWS that the humane society has temporarily cut the big dog adoption fee from eighty to forty dollars in order to help these animals find homes.
