A Tennessee man is in jail in Van Buren tonight, after police say he shot at his estranged wife outside USA Truck this morning.

Police were called out to Industrial Park around 7:30 a.m. by the victim. Officers say the woman told them 29 year old Ramon Jordan confronted her and they started arguing outside the main office building. She says when Jordan pulled a pistol, she locked herself in her car and called police. The woman drove out of the lot and Jordan chased her in his own vehicle through Industrial Park.

Three Van Buren Police officers arrived at that point, and tried to stop the Jordan's vehicle. The chase ended when the suspect's and victim's vehicles collided with a third party in front of USA Truck.

"There happened to be a truck with a large trailer full of lawn equipment that got caught up in the mix with them," said Ron Wilson with Tankersley Food Services, a business across the street from USA Truck.

Officers trapped the Jordan in his vehicle, and arrested him.

Cliff Beckham, President and CEO of the company, says the situation developed pretty quickly and no one in the building was ever in any danger. Beckham says the Van Buren Police Department did a "fabulous job" responding to the incident.

No one involved in the chase was injured.

Jordan is being held without bond at the Crawford County Jail. He faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and more after endangering his wife and dozens of other people. Police say Jordan also has an outstanding arrest warrant in Sebastian County for a prior incident with his wife.
